A straight stairlift is the most affordable type because it uses a mass-produced straight rail which is cut to length.
The Acorn 130 Stairlift carriage is among the most compact available, making it well-suited for narrower staircases.
The seat, armrests and footrest of the carriage all fold neatly away when not in use, so others can pass on the stairs.
Acorn 130 Outdoor Stairlift
Fully weatherproofed version of the Acorn 130, suitable for use outdoors all year round. Avoid wet, slippery and worn steps.
Great for a home accessed by steps, or for regaining use of split-level outdoor space like a patio, decking or terraced garden.
The stairlift rail and fixings ate treated with protective coatings and electronic components are sealed against moisture intrusion.
